You can now make purchases without swiping your card or entering your card information with Digital Wallet! You can use it at checkout – online or in the store – and it makes contactless purchases easy, convenient, and secure!

With a digital wallet, you can securely store your Century Federal debit or credit card in your smartphone, tablet, or smart watch. Paying with a digital wallet is safer than swiping your card, because transactions are validated by a number that is unique to each device and card, rather than your account number. This encrypted number is used to authorize purchases so your card number and PIN are never transferred or stored with the merchant, meaning they are less likely to be compromised. Many smart devices offer fingerprint Touch ID or Face Recognition that can be used to authorize transactions. This means your digital wallet is securely available at your fingertips. There is no need to show additional ID, sign, or wait for the chip reader to complete the transaction.

Simply tap your mobile device when making a payment in person. When shopping online, click the digital wallet symbol when offered and save your preferred card information. From then on, select any of your available stored Century Federal debit or credit cards and complete your purchase without having to type in any personal information. Use it anywhere you see the digital wallet symbol!
